Mismatch Color Day

Each camper, counselor and teacher received a colored piece of paper for voting: The best mismatch color costume.

Voting was combined with playing various games offered by teacher Andrey V.

The games turned out to be not only funny and noisy, but also instructive.

Congratulations to all campers that brought points for their tribes!!!!!!!

The campers had to be creative, fast and inventive to take pictures in various places.

Funny Learning

More campers started to play the board game "Word Up". They went to the more challenging Level 2.

One more board game "Great States" has become popular: it's for junior native speakers, but it's also instructive for more older non-American kids.

Most of the campers were playing ballgames during the teamtime.

Board Game

While most of the campers were playing at the gym, some preferred to play a board game. They found "Word Up" exciting, informative and instructive.

We started with Level 1: What is the capital of Australia? What is the opposite of 'new'? Spell the word 'question', etc. The game turned out quite long, unexpectedly the girl who joined latest became the winner!

Karaoke Day

The kids have drawn lots and now they're rehearsing. Each tribe is to sing three songs, so it'll be nine songs.

Cowboy Day

Today is Cowboy Day, one of the most exciting activities in the Summer Camp!

This is the second time in the NarnSun Summer Camp history when we get dressed like cowboys! Awesome!

Games In&Out

Today's morning surprised me a lot: it was raining in my part of the city, while it was quite fine near our camp ground?! Absolutely unbelievable for our tiny place!

The fine weather attracted the campers to spend some time outside playing ballgames.

Some preferred 'Twister' instead.

And some enjoyed studying the USA through the board game Great States Junior. The kids learned the states using three types of cards - 'Picture', 'Name' and 'Shape'.

Around the Camp

One of the most fascinating activities is "Around the ...". This year it was called "...the camp", not "...the USA". Compare with the previous years: 2010 , 2009! In 2011 it became 'transgression practice'!

There were three stations outside and inside. The campers had to find the destinations.
